The Photo Roma Collection: Martina and Ballesi, is from the archives of Photo Roma Studio that operated in the Illawarra from the 1950s to 1994.
The Collection is kindly provided by Mark Ballesi on behalf of his mother Liliane and sister Christine and the Martina family. The Collection documents, in photographs, life as a migrant in the Illawarra post-World War 2. A portion of this collection is contained in the Gallery on this website.
The photographs remain under the ownership of the families of (the late) Bruno Ballesi and (the late) Ferruccio Martina and are under copyright. The copying, storing, transmitting or publishing of any, or part of any, photograph is prohibited without the express permission of the copyright holders.
